Stingo are a dynamic folk band specialising in music from the UK and beyond. Between them, they play an exciting array of instruments, including fiddle, melodeon, clarinet, bagpipes, guitar, bodhran and flute.
From lively jigs and rhythmic bourees, to rousing choruses and beautiful songs, they always guarantee to get toes tapping and to put smiles on faces.
Since their formation three years ago, they have built up a diverse portfolio of performance and workshop experience, working with a range of national organisations including the Royal Opera House, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Folkworks, Brighton Early Music Festival, the English Folk Dance and Song Society, Barbican Creative Learning, Aldeburgh Young Musicians and the Centre for Young Musicians.
"Stingo rocked! Definitely my musical highlight of Chilled in a Field!"
